Sarah Meissner, BSN, RN, is a highly skilled and self-motivated healthcare professional with extensive experience in leadership and clinical nursing. With over five years of management expertise in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), Sarah has demonstrated an exceptional ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive operational efficiency.

Sarah oversees daily operations, supervises staff members, and collaborates closely with governing bodies to uphold organizational mission and vision. Her leadership ensures high-quality patient care while maintaining operational and regulatory excellence.

Sarah’s strong clinical foundation includes roles as a Perioperative Nurse and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN, with hands-on expertise in vascular, cardiac, and emergency care. She has a proven track record of facilitating staff education, quality improvement initiatives, and successful accreditation processes, including active participation in CMS and AAAHC surveys.

Adept at building collaborative team environments, Sarah prioritizes patient satisfaction and serves as a bridge between staff and physicians. Her commitment to professional growth is evident in her pursuit of advanced education and continued participation in industry training and conferences.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Emily Scott

Director of Surgical Care Coordination

Emily joined Visionary ASC in 2015 and now leads a dedicated team of multi-specialty surgical schedulers known for their exceptional patient care. She designs and implements highly effective protocols, enabling her team to manage complex surgical schedules across multiple providers and locations. Emily also collaborates closely with the marketing and administrative teams to maintain a seamless and high-quality experience for patients at every stage of their journey.

Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina and brings extensive experience in administrative support, particularly within healthcare. When she’s not working, Emily enjoys quality time with her family and discovering new hiking trails in nearby states.

Evan Hammerman

General Counsel

Evan joined Visionary ASC in 2019 as in-house counsel, bringing nearly two decades of legal expertise to the organization. He oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including contract review, drafting employment agreements, renegotiating vendor contracts, reviewing facility-patient documents, managing patient collections, and handling litigation.

Evan works closely with all departments to streamline the implementation of new processes, procedures, and forms, ensuring operational efficiency. He also coordinates with outside counsel to address and resolve legal matters for Visionary ASC and its affiliated entities.

Since joining the team, Evan has leveraged his extensive legal experience across diverse fields to significantly enhance Visionary ASC’s overall operations.

Anna Grigoryan

Accounting

Anna joined Visionary ASC in 2019, bringing over six years of diverse experience in private, public, and government accounting. With a strong foundation in accounting principles and exceptional analytical skills, she excels in analyzing financial reports and developing accurate forecasts.

After earning her degree from the University of Maryland, Anna began her career at a local CPA firm, where she spent four years specializing in individual, corporate, and fiduciary tax preparation. She then expanded her expertise by working as an accountant for a private construction company and a government contractor.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Anna enjoys traveling and cherishing quality time with her friends and family.
